This movie resumes the story of architect turned vigilante, Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson) as he strives to clean up the mean streets of New York City. In this particular movie, Kersey travels to Los Angeles to visit an old friend. When Kersey arrives he discovers that his friend has been brutally murdered by a vicious gang. Kersey as he has done in previous installments, vows revenge for his friend’s slaying and roams the hardened streets of L. A. in search of the murderers. Along the way, Kersey is jailed and convicted of murder, but with the help of a police chief who, like Kersey indulges in vigilante justice, Kersey is able to continue his quest for revenge and punishment for the guilty.
