Chris Rock is well known for his strong, loud opinions on society and the interaction between racism, and the need for black people (those he considers to be his people) to rise up. In all, this standup act covers everything from national policy, the president, gays, community, relationships, and, most importantly to him, racism. One of the most memorable moments from this particular routine was his diatribe against the "other" group of black people. Chris Rock believes there is a great difference between "Black People" and "Niggers". In his mind, black people are the people struggling to adjust to the social norm and to try to make a living for themselves. Niggers, in his mind, are the people who have no intention of trying to work for such a thing, and therefore do things that make other black people look bad. For instance, he says a nigger would say something like "I take care of my kids" very proudly. But after this statement, he comes back with venom, saying that "You're SUPPOSED to take care of your kids, you low-expectation havin' #&^##&!" This is the kind of joke to expect in this movie.
