Forrest Taft (Steven Segal) is a environmental pioneer concerned with protecting the earth's assets. Working for the AEGIS oil company in Alaska, it is Taft's job to make sure its products aren't destructive to wildlife. When the company's CEO, Michael Jennings (Michael Caine) decides that getting his new oil rig up and running is more important than the land that it will ultimately destroy, Taft must save the land and its people from disaster. While Jennings sets out to kill those with secret evidence against him, Taft collaborates with an Eskimo woman named Masu (Joan Chen) and her father (Chief Irvin Brink) to beat Jennings at his own game.
