Ivy (Drew Barrymore) is a young con artist who uses her friendship and seduction as tools to get what she wants. She meets and becomes friends with a lonely, unpopular teen named Sylvie Cooper (Sara Gilbert) who has a wealthy adopted family she lives with. Seeing an opportunity for a big score Ivy befriends the family and especially the father (Tom Skerritt) who cannot be sexually satisfied by his handicapped wife. Ivy begins a torrid affair of passion and lust with Sylvie’s father, hoping that by giving him what he wants, she can get what she wants, the family’s fortune. She will do whatever it takes to get their money even if that includes tearing the family apart and killing them all.
