“Battle for the Planet of the Apes” sees the humans conquered by the apes after the events of the various movies before this. However just because the apes have won doesn’t mean the humans are down for good. Caeser (Roddy McDowal) tries desperately to broker peace between the humans and the apes. However forces work against Caeser as the gorilla General Aldo (Claude Akins) tries to ensue an ape civil war of ape versus gorilla but then the humans discover the location of ape city and decide they want to fight to take their own planet back thus setting the stage for a war amongst three factions, apes, humans and gorillas.
